We Accept EBT!

We’re proud to accept EBT/SNAP benefits for CSA boxes and local add-ons. Select "offline payment" at checkout, then Harvest Hub will call you for your card details.

Discounts are applied manually when payments are processed.

How do I place an order with my EBT card? 

Select "offline payment" at checkout. Please submit your EBT card number in the "How did you hear about" form using the Other option. Harvest Hub will call you directly to confirm/gather your 16 digit EBT card number (begins with 5077) or if there are issues processing payment.Select "offline payment" at checkout. We process orders one week ahead of time so that our farmers have time to harvest before we pack your goodies for the following week.

You are NOT charged through this site. Harvest Hub staff will manually process your EBT payment offline and apply a discount (each box is $15 with EBT) plus any add ons you check out with.

How is my EBT card charged?

We process orders one week ahead of time (on Tuesdays or early Wednesday) so that our farmers have time to harvest before we pack your goodies for the following week. You are NOT charged through this site. The Harvest Hub team manually calls in your EBT card authorization. You can check your charges through CalBenefits or your EBT Information number on the back of your card.

What does the EBT transaction look like?

The way we process payments is using a voucher system where we need to call in to place a hold on your account, and then “clear” the transaction in order to release the funds.  This multi-step process ensures that we are an authorized vendor who has permission to accept the funds.Because of this, the 2 transactions you see are the voucher processing and the voucher clearing. We have verified that you are only getting charged once, even though it looks like twice on your end.

How does weekly ordering & pickup work?

We'll text/email you each week before we harvest, and you'll have until that week's cutoff time (9am Wednesday) to add extras to your order, or to notify us if you need to skip the week's share.

And speaking of skip...

What happens if I go on vacation/need to skip a week?

While we'd never advise skipping your veggies, we understand that life gets busy! Every week, you'll receive an email/text message alert when our harvest starts, with the option to “skip” by 9am Wednesday to opt out of the week's order at no charge.

What if I go on vacation or need to take a break?

No problem–you can set an extended hold on your account and resume when you're ready. You're also welcome to cancel any time.

Can I add-on extras?

Of course! Along with our many add-on subscriptions, members can shop for extra produce and pantry staples weekly from the add-on shop.

Do you accept SNAP/EBT?

I have an allergy/dietary restriction–can I still join?

While we are not able to customize boxes, you can list food allergies in your profile preferences, and we will do our best to accommodate those health-related requests.

Note: Our produce boxes will NEVER contain meat, dairy, eggs, gluten, soy, or nuts!
